Valentine Activity for MYP Students

The MYP 5 students planned a memorable Valentine activity for the juniors of the Middle Years Programme in relations to the unit they are discussing: “What do healthy relationships look like?”. Their main goal was to promote love between friends, family members, and the school community.
Activity: Imagine you are working for the government in Ender’s society. Create a propaganda leaflet or poster about the buggers.

The award-winning novel Ender’s Game is science fiction writer Orson Scott Card’s vision of a future where children as young as six are thrust into a grueling training regime in preparation for an imminent war against an alien species. Ender’s Game actually began life as a short story in 1977, and was later expanded and published as a full length novel in 1985. The book was an instant success and remains popular today, largely due to audiences’ ability to relate to the novel’s protagonist, Ender.
