Pandemic in Aviation Industries | Lin Chi Yuan (Morris)
In this COVID-19 pandemic, aviation industries are having difficulties due to the limitation of flights. With this continuous situation, there are several negative impacts on them. Morris Lin is a middle school student in MXIS. Since 2018, he has started collecting various information about the aviation industry and take pictures of planes. Until now, the development of the aviation industry has been completely changed due to the pandemic.

Building passion through discovery | Yeo Dong Ha (Kevin)
Students learn academic subjects in the school for around 6 to 8 hours, however, how can schools build one’s passion in areas not taught inside the classroom? Through engagement in extra-curricular activities or after-school programs, students can discover more of their talents and skills. Yeo DongHa (Kevin) is from the Republic of Korea, currently studying in the Manila Xiamen International School, located in Xiamen, China. He likes joining extracurricular activities. He’s the Operations Manager of the school’s Social Media Crew, Exploration Leader of the school’s TEDEd club, Assistant Director of MUNOX 2020, and volunteer of several activities.
Emotion is more powerful than words | Yeo Ja Young (Jane)
Emotion is a way of communication, your health or condition, your experience, inspiration, what makes you special, and it’s what defines you. Yeo JaYoung (Jane) is from the Republic of Korea, and she is currently studying in Manila Xiamen International School. She loves spending time while listening to music, thinking, and drawing. She likes to think and imagine, and these lead her to come up with great ideas, and that is why I joined the MXIS TEDEd Club.

Aliens are creatures that are foreign on earth or who belong to different planets other than ours. As we started exploring other planets, such as Mars, do we consider ourselves as aliens? Should we have a control over other planets? I am Jasmine Chong from Hong Kong (China). Studying in Manila Xiamen International School as an 8th grade student. Currently part of the social media club of our school, as a staff member. I got the best delegate during our Model United Nations 2020. This year I’ve joined a lot extracurricular activities, realizing that it’s actually fun and worthwhile.

Animals are part of the entire ecosystem and balances nature. However, these days more and more of these animals are being endangered. As humans, why should we protect them and what can we do to save them? Silvia is a middle school student from MXIS. When she was young, she received a white tiger, and has been to several animal-themed museums before, which got her interested in animals.

Have you been disturbed by food allergies? Do you hate it? If so, I will tell you why and how this food allergy happens. Ray is a middle school student from Taiwan and currently studying at Manila Xiamen International School. He is medically diagnosed with an allergy to peanut so watch his talk to know more about peanut allergy and how to manage it.
Designing can reveal your identity | Saumya Anand
Designing can affect one’s identity. It may reveal something about ourselves, through the colors and decorations we choose. Saumya Anand is from India, and she is currently a middle school student in Manila Xiamen International School. She actively joins public speaking and outside school activities like TedEd Club, World Scholars Cup, and MUN.
