On May 12th, the preschool and lower school students from the Manila Xiamen International School, led by their international trade research advisor, went to Xiamen Lingling International Circus City. Students were experiencing a learning adventure in classrooms that were not like the typical classrooms that they were used to. Instead, they were in zoos and circuses. The trip to Lingling International Circus City came to a happy conclusion. The preschool and lower school students studied and understood different animals and folk cultures from other countries. They met marine creatures, which helped them develop a close relationship between animals and humans. They also communicated with the parrots, which allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of the parrots’ daily lives. Students saw various highly skilled performances, such as the K-pop dance, acrobatic dance, fire shows, and ice skating, and watched China’s first original horse drama with the theme of Wukong—”The Greatest Troubles in the Heavenly Palace.” that provided them with a feast of vision and sensations, enriching their imagination and curiosity. Students were full of excitement; they appreciated and cheered for every performance. They immersed themselves in the refreshing visual impact and spiritual shock, expanded their horizons, increased their knowledge, and had an enjoyable and fulfilling day.
