In October 31, Halloween event was held at Manila Xiamen International School.  Students showcased their Halloween costumes bearing their chosen themes or characters such as monsters and ghouls (to name a few).  Halloween is commonly celebrated by children going door-to-door and asking for candies, but in our school, instead of knocking on the neighbors’ doors and saying “trick or treat” to get sweets, students could get candies from the Halloween food carnivals or win prizes as awards for their costumes.  In addition, students could take part in eerie and exciting activities, such as the haunted house, which is open only to those with the courage to enter. Moreover, this year’s Halloween party also featured one of Xiamen’s best DJs, bringing the party to a climax along with food, beverages, music, and dances to enjoy. October 31st at MXIS was an enjoyable moment for many students, teachers, and guests.
