Meet the Crew

Who are we?

The MXIS Social Media Crew is a student-led team that documents and records various school events and publish them on the school social media platforms.

— SMC Cohort 1 (2020 – 2022)

Established on 2020, with Kevin Yeo as the operations manager and Mr. Mitchel Africa as supervisor, the Social Media Crew Cohort 1 is formed with 3 departments: Photo/Videography Department, Finance Department, and Editors Department. The Team documented various school events for two consecutive years. One main accomplishment is the videos for the school’s MYP authorization. The Team also hosted the CORE and ATL Day for the MYP and DP students.

— SMC Cohort 2 (2022 – 2023)

Reformed on 2022, after two years of teamwork, the Social Media Crew decided to recruit new members. New generations of crew members were selected from the middle school department. In this cohort, the crew is divided into 5 teams: Photography Team, Videography Team, Graphic Design Team, Video Editing Team, and Social Media Teams. The team involves into various school events in different perspectives and angles, tries its best to document and record down activities.

With Audrey Wong as the new Operations Manager, the MXIS Social Media Crew has undergone a transformative restructuring. The team has been divided into four distinct departments, each with its own unique function. This strategic move aims to enhance efficiency and streamline operations within the organization. With this revamped structure in place, the MXIS Social Media Crew is poised to achieve even greater success in their mission to connect and inspire through various social media platforms.
