William is my best friend. One day I asked William, “Do you have time in the afternoon to go to the forest to play?” William said, “You are my best friend. Of course, I have time in the afternoon to play in the forest.” I smiled and said, “Ok!” In the forest we found many animals, trees and grass. At night before I sleep, I am still thinking of the forest and William. Today is the best day! I love this day.
“Hot Pot” by Jeremy Lim
If you ask me, “What is your favorite food?” I will tell you without thinking twice, “Hot Pot!” Why do I love Hot Pot so much? First, when you’re eating Hot Pot, you don’t need to eat fast. You can eat leisurely. The food is always hot until you finish. Second, you can usually cook any food you choose to eat. If you like beef, just get and cook it. If you want vegetable, just get and toss it into the delicious broth. Finally, it is warm specially in this season, winter. When you’re done eating, you’re satisfied because of the pleasurable heat of the Hot Pot!

My turtles are very funny. They always do funny things. One time I gave some food to my turtles. When all the food was eaten by all the turtles, there was a piece of food that got stuck in a high place. A small turtle wants to eat it, so it tried to reach high but the food is too high. The turtle crawled on the back of the bigger turtle and tried to reach it. When it almost got the food, the turtle fell back and gave up getting the food.
“When I’m Bored” by Sareh Zhou
When I’m bored, I would like to build the Lego because it makes me feel relaxed and busy. Though the Lego is a bit expensive, it is functional and it saves you from being idle. Lego is the best toy in the world. It teaches you to focus on the things you’re doing. You learn to make less mistakes. It makes you spend more time with your family and friends by competing or building with them. You can play different games. This is why I love to build Lego when I’m bored.

Poseidon is one of the Greek gods in Mythology. He is the brother of Zeus and he is the god of war. Poseidon helped Zeus to fight with the giant king Ceonus. He used the weapon his uncle made to kill the giants. When he was born, his father swallowed him into his stomach, but Zeus saved him out. Poseidon have ruled the Tseas and Atlantis, but he let the water drown the Atlantis. His wife is Medusa, the monster with full of snake on her head.
“My Favorite Holiday Festival” by Jia Yi Lean
Christmas will always be my favorite holiday Festival. It is a day of joy, love and happiness. It has some activities like exchange gift, baking cookies and decorating the Christmas trees. I like exchange gift very much. Giving and receiving is the best thing I like in Christmas. It is very fun to see the faces of my friends the moment they pick and open their gifts. I can see faces full of joy and happiness. Of course, I am also very excited with my gifts.
We should know why we celebrate this festival. It is the birth of Jesus Christ that reflects sacrifices, joy and kindness.

Talking about Chinese New Year, children are very excited because of the red pocket. Adults are also excited because they will see their family. Chinese New Year is exciting because we play different things. It also depends where you are living. On that day, we watch TV shows, we jump over the fire, we eat together, and get red pockets. Chinese New Year is indeed exciting! People who come enjoy great excitement!
