In March 18, 2023, students from Manila Xiamen International School had the opportunity to challenge themselves and compete with other students in the FISSCA Swimming Invitational. Every athlete did their best in the tournament and reaped good results. The tournament, held at Xiamen International School (XIS), helped students to gain courage and try new things. The swimming tournament did not only serve as a sport contest that sought success but also provided a good chance for students to gain friendly relationships with others. The successful result shows all of the efforts the students have exerted. Students attending the tournaments get the opportunity to make friends with students from other schools; this contest made the relationship between students and schools better. No matter what the results the athletes get, it shows all the effort and how they are talented. However, the result was good, and we hope the next tournament will be better and more exciting for all of us!
Following are the achievements of the MXIS Swimming Team:
Tara Brocas – 1st Place U15 Breast, 3rd Place U15 Free
