A Football Match Under the Thunder

On a fine Saturday in March 2023, determined football participants and players from various schools around China joined a tournament that was held by FISSCA. Each and every single football player showcased their upcoming potential and skills in their football career. Under the coaching of Mr. Joel Miworse, players from Manila Xiamen International School exerted endless effort and sweat into their practices in the hope of taking first place in the football tournament. Amidst the unexpected and harsh weather conditions, players showed assertiveness, discipline, courage, and power in every match that they have played, no matter who or whom the opposition was. In the end, the Manila Xiamen International School football team achieved 4th place in the tournament. No matter what the result, we must always look upward and climb up that mountain we have always strived for. As we always say, third time’s the charm, soar high, egrets!
