Rising to the Challenge

The MXIS Lower School Team joined the LS Basketball and Football Tournament this school year, S.Y. 2022-2023.
Congratulations to the Egrets LS Basketball and Football Team for their amazing performances in the 2023 FISSCA Elementary School Boys Basketball Tournament and the 2023 Elementary School Grades 1-3 Co-Ed Football Tournament. The hard work and commitment they put in during the past months have proven to be worthwhile, no matter the results. In face of challenging opponents coming from foreign schools, the young athletes of MXIS were determined and did their utmost in every game. What is more important than winning the championship are the lessons they have learned during the process of preparation. Beyond its immediate physical health benefits, sport can be a path that leads to character and one that has the power to connect different people together.
Lastly, they wouldn’t be where they are today if it weren’t for the unconditional support and love from their parents and coaches, who’ve given them help and care in and out of the court. We hope that these aspiring athletes will continue to chase their dreams and face future obstacles with the same perseverance and patience they showed during the games. Soar high, Egrets!
